The acquisition and reintroduction of F.C. Tokyo Volleyball Team provides a significant opportunity for our company to bring people in the local community together and engage with one another. Renamed as the TOKYO GREAT BEARS, we hope our team makes a positive contribution in society and sports industry.
Team Name Origin
The origin of the TOKYO GREAT BEARS’ name came from the The Big Dipper, a large asterism consisting of seven bright stars of the constellation Ursa Major. Like the seven stars shining in the night sky, we hope the connection of stars (players and fans) can act as a unifier between many people around the world.
By developing new perspectives and illuminating new possibilities, we envision a future where volleyball will one day grow into one of the most exciting and attractive sports.
SOCIETY
OUR DISASTER RELIEF PROGRAM
At NatureLab, we have been providing relief supplies and donations to areas affected and victims in Japan and Asia-Pacific region through Civic Force and other related organizations.
Civic Force is an organization that provides timely and effective emergency response and coordinates with the private sector, NGOs, and local governments in large-scale disasters such as earthquakes and torrential rains.
We are also a proud member of the Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management (A-PAD), a trans-national disaster aid alliance that works to facilitate cooperation and understanding between governments, private companies and NGOs in the Asia Pacific region.
